Week Seven Matchups

RRT CASINOS is back with only 2 games this week, however all games are now open for betting. Check out the line for your favorite team this week.

GAME 1: Oinkpigs (2-4) vs. Mr. Natalie Portman (6-0)

The Oinkpigs Coach has been questioning why his team never makes it into the column for the games of the week. This week he gets his wish, but not the game he was looking for. The pigs are facing the undefeated powerhouse of Mr. Natalie Portman. Portman who is looking to pull off an undefeated season, should have some troubles rolling onto a victory this week. However, recent rumors have it that the Commish has already made out the regular season check to Team Portman.

The Oinkpigs will have a full roster to throw out there against the top team in the league. But, some of his matchups are not favoring a big week. At QB the Pigs may decide to bench regular starter Chad Pennington as he travels to New England, instead deciding to start (I wish I was Padraig) Harrington against the Giants. At running back Tomlinson is a must start, but after that things are a lot like the weather around here lately; Gloomy and dreadful. Who would you start C. Taylor, L. Suggs, or R. Anderson? Go with Anderson. Wideouts Rod Smith, C. Johnson, and R. Wayne should produce solid numbers, as will J. Wilkins kicking for this bunch.

Team Portman is losing a couple of starters this week thanks to the Week 7 Bye of the the Steelers. Staley, Bettis, and Ward will be watching from home this week. This forces Portman to replace starters Staley and Ward. As of press time Portman had still not filled the spot of Ward, but is replacing the Deuce with Warrick Dunn. This leaves Dunn and T. Jones in his backfield, and T. Holt and K. Johnson at wide reciever. Once again Portman is going to need big production from his all-star QB Daunte Culpepper who is back home this week against the Titans. If Culpepper ever slips this team loses.

The Oinkpigs are forced in an almost must win situation, and he has a chance against the top team in the league. Yes, he will need an unexpected huge game from somebody not named Tomlinson. A loss on the other hand is devastating to an already struggling team.

GAME 2: Turd Fergusson (5-1) vs. The Cosby Sweaters (4-2)

By far the biggest matchup of the week is between these two powerful IIFFL teams. This is the standout game in the league for Week 7. What a huge game for Turd and his sing a long team, they must find a victory in order to keep pace with the previously mentioned Team Portman. On the other hand, The Huxtibles can creep even further up the standings, and move into a tie with Turd if they can pull out a victory. Possibly, setting himself up for a money-run in the second half of the season.

Both teams will be losing a Running Back this week, due to the Week 7 Bye. And, Turd is taking a huge hit. After blowing up last week in ChiTown (not Cubs blowing up, but Jordan blowing up) Portis is taking this week off. The Sweaters will be losing D. Davis to a bye as the Texans take the week off. However, Davis is the 3rd best back on this squad--so who cares. Losing Portis could have been real bad, but Turd did a little patch work by picking up R. Droughns in an early week trade.

Team Turd is led be the cagee vet Brett Farve and he will have 2 of the 3 following backs behind him; Droughns, Sammy (don't call me Zach) Morris, or Travis Henry. Look for Henry to sit this one out, as he is splitting carries against a tough Baltimore defense. Losing Stokley in the trade made earlier this week should not effect Turd's receiving corp. S. Moss is returning this week to join Bruce, Moulds, or possibly Pathon out wide.

The Sweaters Coach has a tough decision to make. Should I start my first love; J. Plummer? Or, should I start my current boyfriend J. Garcia? Look for Plummer to get the start because you never forget your first, and also because Garcia is matched up against a tough Philly defense. The Sweaters have 2 horses going this week in the backfield and they should score above average again this week. It is hard to match running backs with the tandum of C. Martin and E. James. We will more than likely see Horn, Jimmy Smith, and Darrel Jackson starting as wide receivers, while Marty (I've never read a) Booker will remain on the bench. In an intersting move this week the Sweaters dropped both of his defenses in favor of the Lions D. Also, benching Shockey last week in favor of the upcoming A. Gates might make the John Rocker wanna be available on the trade market.

RRT CASINOS loves both of these teams and is forced to make a hard decision. But, with his best player taking the week off, and his starting D at Indianapolis the Turd is going to fall--unless Droughns and Morris can repeat their performances form last week. We will stick with the Sweaters.
