Week
Eight Matchups After having a week of troubles, the CASINO is hopefully up and running. Missing out on a weeks worth of winnings has forced us to lay off employees. Hopefully, with a good week of gambling we can hire back some very important staff. Like the guy in the bathroom that hands you a towel. More importantly, the lady in the VIP room that starts the hot shower for you. GAME 1: (3-4) Robintucky Raiders vs. (4-3) Banger 9.5 A very crucial game for both of these teams will be here in Week 8. The Bangers could possibly place themselves up front with a chance to make some money during the regular season. While the Raiders are hoping for a win to solidify a playoff spot in December. Both of these teams are about as inconsistent as it comes in this league, with a good or bad week to come. Which has to make these 2 GM’s very uncomfortable. The Raiders are hoping for another solid week from L. Jordan to help carry them to another victory. Jordan @ Ten., W. McGahee @ NE will make or break this team for Week 8. It also appears T. Green will start at QB @ SD, and T. Owens will be in the lineup @ Den. The Bangers will be replacing one Bye week receiver soon, as J. Jurevicius takes the week off. P. Holmes @ SD, W. Parker vs. Bal, and A. Gates vs. KC will carry the load for Bangers. With too many players playing on the road expect the Raiders to lose a close one this week. Yahoo Projection: Robintucky Raiders – 98 Banger 9.5 – 102 (NO WR) RRT CASINOS: Banger –2.5
In what is usually a classic match-up in IIFFL every season, these two proud GM’s face off in Week 8. And somebody is going to be really disappointed. The Oinkpigs have been pulling win after win from the a-hole so far this year, and expect the trend to happen again this week. The Sweaters have been somewhat of a disappointment so far, as they have looked like a much better team on paper. Things won’t be good this week for the Cos and family after realizing they are nothing but a .500 team. At least the playoffs seem like a safe bet right now. The Oinkpigs have really good match-ups and only one player on a BYE, as kicker J. Brown takes the week off. The Pigs have yet to replace him as of press time, even though they should save the $1.50 and not kick this week. Expect L. Tomilinson to get back up on the horse this week vs. KC, also C. Johnson vs. GB, J. Smith @ Stl, and the Pit. D vs. Bal should score well. The Sweaters on the other hand are bit by the BYE week curse. Losing a starting QB hasselback, RB james, and WR wayne really hurts, like a kick to the groin first thing in the morning. The Sweaters hope to get surprise performances from A. Chatman @ Cin., K. Barlow vs. TB, and T. Henry vs. Oak. Yahoo Projection: Oinkpigs – 98 NO K Sweaters – 80 RRT CASINO: Oinkpigs –21
