Zak Walls caps off a five game winning streak to win his first IIFFL championship by defeating two time champion Ryan Reynolds with a score of 139.85 to 131.96.

It's official, Zak Walls and Ryan Reynolds are headed to the 2009 IIFFL championship game. Zak brings his #1 seed Anzahl Fünf team into the big game for the first time in league history. Ryan's #7 §!¢kp!g$ are back for a fourth time after both teams had a dismal 2008 campaign. No #1 or #7 seed has ever made it to the championship game in the five years since the league was formed. Anzahl Fünf has averaged 142.12 in the 2009 playoffs while the §!¢kp!g$ have averaged 149.06 in that time. §!¢kp!g$ have outscored Anzahl Fünf by 74.32 points in 15 games this season. We will be holding the 2009 IIFFL draft at JT Walker's Restaurant & Sports Bar in Mahomet, IL. The draft is slated for September 6th at 5:00 PM at the "Dog Pound Sports Bar" which is on the second floor of JT Walker's. JT Walker's is located at 401 East Main Street, Mahomet, IL 61853.
